Norman offers a line of patented pop-up softboxes that produce a large, soft light that works well in a variety of portrait and commercial applications. Fast, easy set-up and tear-down, and the convenient travel pouch even make these versatile softboxes a great choice for many location assignments.	All Norman Softboxes include a snap-in inner baffle that can be installed for soft even lighting, or left out to provide slightly higher contrast. The front diffusion panel attaches with Velcro™ for easy installation and removal. The highly reflective inner coating and all baffles are neutral for accurate reproduction.	Norman also offers an assortment of Speed Ring Adapters that allow these softboxes to be used with many popular electronic flash systems. No tools are required to attach these adapters to the built-in speed ring, which is included with each softbox. The adapters can be left on when used with the same brand lamphead or easily exchanged to work with different systems.

Square Softboxes
Norman offers square softboxes in 22X22, 36x36 and 48x48 inch sizes, to handle everything from individual portraits to full room sets. The rugged opaque outer material used on these, and all Norman Softboxes will make sure the only light you have to deal with is on the subject.

With the appropriate Speed Ring Adapter, these softboxes attach to a variety of monolights and lampheads, just like a reflector.

* A 24x24 inch high temperature softbox is available for use exclusively with the C1000 Constant Light. This model is not compatible with the SRA series Speed Ring Adapters, and must be purchased with the BDAL Barn Door/Speed Ring Adapter.

Octagonal Softboxes
Octagonal softboxes are available in 36 and 60 inch sizes. These softboxes produce a large, soft light source that wraps around the subject. Even illumination from corner to corner simulates natural lighting conditions, even in small shooting areas.

The 36 inch and even the 60 inch octagonal softbox are the same pop-up configuration as the rest of the Norman line. Set-up and tear-down are done in seconds, with no extra parts to assemble.

Rectangular Softboxes
Norman 24x32 and 36x48 inch soft boxes are ideal for head, shoulder and 3/4 length portraits, as well as tabletop commercial shots that require soft directional lighting patterns.

The Norman 10x36 inch "Strip" Softbox was designed with a narrow 1:3 ratio. It can be used horizontally or vertically to create relatively sharp shadows. Above or behind the subject, this softbox provides the right amount highlighting to add volume and drama.


The unique Norman Softbox design allows them to be set-up in seconds. Just attach it to the lamphead, open like an umbrella, slide the center coupling over the post and tighten the thumbscrew. No additional parts to assemble or keep track of.
